Hotel was quaint, we enjoyed this place.
Everything was good, unbeatable location just next door to a classic old pub, fun experience. There was a wide array of food for breakfast, including tea and cereal. There was free Wi-Fi throughout the property and the service in general was marvellous!

During our stay at the hotel, we discovered a lovely furnished open verandah off our room. It was such a comfortable and delightful space to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with clean bedding and excellent pillows. The shower was also great, providing a refreshing experience. The car parking out front was convenient, safe, and camera protected. Despite a few minor drawbacks like a lack of waste disposal in the room and limited water sources, our overall experience at Bellbird Hotel was pleasant and met our budget needs. With its basics and cozy atmosphere, I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

Had an enjoyable Christmas stay at a hotel in the heart of wine country. Likes include the spacious and comfortable rooms with excellent pillows. The breakfast cereal and tea making facilities were a bonus, and the car parking out front with camera protection was convenient and safe. Best aspect was the lovely furnished open verandah off my room, which was very comfortable and a great place to relax after a day of wine tasting. The hotel is also conveniently located close to wineries and charming nearby towns.

The staff provide excellent service and have a friendly, relaxed attitude. The rooms are equipped with essential amenities, including air conditioning, which is essential in the hot January weather. I particularly enjoyed the classic Aussie broad balcony, which provided a nice outdoor space accessible from the rooms. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the nearby vineyards of the Hunter, just a short distance away from wineries and more attractions in the next suburb out of town.
Everything was fine, no improvements needed.

Looking for a budget-friendly stay near Hunter Valley's wineries, we found a little gem. the old-world charm of the hotel was appealing, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Our basic room and shared bathroom were always clean, and the balkony provided a peaceful spot for chilling out. Breakfast was basic but good, and the convenient location was close to the vineyards. While the room was not fancy, its exceptional value made it perfect for a short stay. Just wish the walls were a bit thicker as the noise from other guests could be disturbing.
